This year for Lent I decided to give up the good o'l cup of Joe! I know I am so very Brave!! I have never been a big coffee drinker until I started my new job .  I started having a cup of coffee every day and enjoying it! They have endless amounts of coffee and different flavor creamers in the teachers lounge a coffee lovers heaven. Long story short I DIDI IT!! I haven't had coffee since February 13th! HOLLER! So today I enjoyed my wonderful cup of Iced Coffee. Delish! I have to say it was a    pretty cool feeling to be able to give something
up! Now what can I give up for next year?

Bang!!

Well today was the day my little girl seemed too be not so little anymore. Bella asked me if she could cut her hair (Gasp). She asked me if she can get bangs!!! It was so weird, her asking for a particular hair style. It was like a little women right in front of me making a choice about her hair. I know that sounds crazy, but I seriously felt like she was already making a decision to go away for college or something. I took her to the "cut shop" (that's what she calls it) this morning. I asked her again if she was sure she wanted bangs she said " Yes Mom"! Less than 5 minutes later my little girl looked just as beautiful the only difference is this was her choice her hair and I let her make it! Get It Bells!!

Bucket List!

Lately I have been thinking about making a Bucket List. I am always thinking of things I want to do before I "Kick the Bucket". Some of the things on my list are silly and some things are the normal like travel the world, visit Paris, do something AMAZING! I have made my list some what short because I get overwhelmed easily and this way It makes me feel like everything on my list will be achieved one day. I know a little O.C.D. Anyway here are my top 5!!!

1.) Get a  Psychic reading
2.) Run The Color Me Rad Race

3.) Have another baby
4.)Buy a house
5.) Visit Washington D.C.

What's on your Bucket List?

Little Distractions

I wanted to blog about this amazing jewelry I found on Etsy! Its called Little Distraction! The shop owner Lani LD sent me some pieces of jewelry to review . They are adorable!  I also purchased bracelets from them in the past that I'm obsessed with. I have worn the rings twice and have gotten so many compliments! Lani sent two different styles of rings that are available on Etsy! They both are  wire rings one that's says love and one that is the & symbol. I will definitely be a customer for a very long time. The Love ring is $5.75 and the & ring is $4.95 there available in sizes 4-13 and it comes in silver, gold and copper. I would suggest to go check them out A.S.A.P! Oh and did I mention there packaging is super Cute!!!

Craft: St. Patty's Day!

I wanted to make something for Bella's class for St. Patrick's Day, that didn't require a lot of work and time. I found this idea to make book marks out of  Paint Swatches! Super cute and not time consuming at all. All you need is paint swatches, ribbon, four leaf clover stickers and a hole puncher. I wen to Walmart and got  the swatches I asked the guy if I could purchase some and he gave them to me for FREE 99! Holla! This project cost me 5 Bucks! Pretty good considering I had to make 25 of them. I really enjoy doing things for Bells class. What do you think?

Wedding Cards!

I saw this idea on Pinterest on making a book out of your wedding cards. I have been thinking about what do do with the cards because they have been sitting in a box in my closet. I was actually thinking about throwing them away, I know thats crazy talk. It is fairly simple to make! Here are the things you will need.

- Scrapbook paper
- Card stock
- Scizzors
- Glue stick
- Ribbon
- Album rings
- Hole puncher

Measure your largest card you have. That will be the size you cut your scrapbooking paper and card stock. Once measured and cut, glue the scrapbooking paper onto the cardstock you have to make two of these one for the cover of the book and one for the back. Then punch holes in the top left corner of each card, once thats done put them threw the album ring. I tied a ribbon around the book to have it close and stay together plus it looks pretty and I also got a cute Mr.&Mrs. decal to put on the cover. I really enjoyed this project, I got to read through all my wedding cards again which  made me cry and I also have a  keepsake gift, that I plan to give to Isabella when she is a grown lady:)

Canvas

I decided to do this Love canvas with Isabella's hands and feet. I originally wanted to do it for Valentines day, but didn't have the time. It was such a  fun project to do. Bella loved  her feet and hands being painted. I bought the canvas from Michael's it was $8.99 and that paints were 79 cents each. It's such a fun and affordable project to do with the little ones! Have Fun!

Book Club

I did it! I read a book in less than a week! Holler! I read Lauren Conrads Sweet Little Lies. I wanted to go back to my Obsession with the Hills and Laguna Beach days. I bought the book years ago and I finally had a chance to read it. It was a fun read nothing serious just about the glamorous life of being on a reality show in Hollywood. I give this book a thumbs up!

Book Club!

One of my New Years Resolutions was to Read at least 3 books this year. This is a tough one because I don't have time, okay lets be honest I don't like to read and I don't want to make the time. The first book I decided on Reading was Leaving The World by Douglas Kennedy, which was brave of me because it was nearly 500 pages. It took me a little over two months, but I finished it and man it was a great Read!!! I would recommend it to anyone who likes story's with lots of twist and turns and provocative to say the least. Now on the hunt for my next great read!
